Yuma Kagiyama is out for the entire Grand Prix series due to a stress fracture in his left fibula, the Japan Skating Federation announced. Yuma stated that despite his efforts to prepare, he has not fully recovered, making it difficult to compete. This follows his withdrawal from the Japan Open due to a left ankle injury. Questions about the severity of his injury arose when he missed a press conference for the new Grand Prix campaign.
