Morgan White - Vignette - 2001 U.S. Gymnastics Championships - Women's Day 1

Back in Philadelphia, you are looking at one popular member of the gymnastics community, Morgan White. Things were supposed to work out so differently for her. "Last summer was great for me. I was definitely at my peak. I look back at what I did, my routines, and where I was, and I was just really awesome." Morgan White was doing everything right, and her Olympic dream was right there. She was in the best shape of her life at a time when it counted and became one of Sydney's six. But a week before the Olympics began, an injury forced her out of the competition, so she returned home rather than stay in Australia, refusing to be a spectator at the games. "I know in my heart I'm gonna win, but I feel like I always missed out. That's why it's keeping me going to hopefully be out on that floor in 2004."
