DeMarcus Cousins' leg injury - torn Achilles vs. Houston (01.26.2018)
During the 2017/2018 NBA season game between the Houston Rockets and New Orleans Pelicans, DeMarcus Cousins suffered an injury to his left lower leg, specifically in the Achilles region. He was hurt after attempting to rebound a missed foul shot. Chris Paul was fouled by Anthony Davis on the other end of the court. Cousins was unable to put any weight on his left leg and had to be assisted to the locker room by his teammates.
DeMarcus Cousins Quad Injury - Game 2 | Clippers vs. Warriors | 2019 NBA Playoffs
The record passed and that's what I mean about getting used to the playoffs. They don't call as many fouls, you can't be lazy on passes, and you hope that Cousins is not hurt because he's staying down on the floor on the defensive end, grabbing his left hip area. Tony had the steal that landed hard, and it's a three-pointer for Shabot. DeMarcus Cousins is limping toward the bench; he has to come out. Marvin, I don't know if the team saw it, but they did, and they're calling for him. He looks very frustrated running to the side. In the playoffs, he gets in the passing lane, which is what you want. Not to make fun of the injury, but we call that a flat tire when a player just falls and isn't touched by anyone. DeMarcus is dealing with an injury to his left Achilles tendon that was suffered last January.
