🚨URGENT! LEICESTER CITY FANS WORRIED AS CONOR COADY FORCED OFF WITH FOOT INJURY
Hello Foxes fans,
We have some concerning news to share regarding our upcoming pre-season tour to Thailand and Singapore. Leicester City has been hit with an injury worry: Conor Coady, our new signing, was forced off the pitch during Wednesday's friendly against OH Leuven in a behind-closed-doors fixture held at our Seagrave Training Center. Coady displayed his excellent leadership skills throughout pre-season. However, during the second 45 minutes of the match, he picked up a foot injury, casting doubt on his availability for the upcoming tour.
A video shared on social media by ITV's Dan Salisbury Jones shows Coady limping heavily and wincing as he enters the building at Seagrave. Despite this setback, we must acknowledge his impactful presence before the injury occurred, and he is undoubtedly a great addition to our squad.
Conor Coady joined Leicester City just over two weeks ago in a £7.5 million deal. His leadership qualities were a significant factor in securing his signature as we fought off competition from other Premier League clubs.
At this stage, no further updates have been provided on Coady's injury. However, we remain hopeful that he will recover in time to travel with the squad and participate in our final two pre-season matches. We are scheduled to face Tottenham in Thailand this Sunday, 11 AM kickoff, and then take on Liverpool in Singapore a week later.
Let's keep our fingers crossed for Conor's swift recovery. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on his impact during pre-season? Do you think he will become an influential leader for our team? Share your opinions in the comments below.

Connor Coady, the new summer signing for Leicester City, has suffered a significant setback just before making his competitive debut due to an excruciating foot injury. "We hope and pray that everything is okay" | Conor Coady on Raul Jimenez's head injury
Connor, you somehow gathered yourselves to deliver an excellent performance, but did you spend the 90 minutes worried about your mate?
Massively, massively. It was something you knew straight away, and it was a horrible clash. This happens in football, but you don't like to see it. Both teams went out and played properly. He's with the right people, and that's the most important thing. We just hope and pray that everything's okay because he's the one we're thinking about right now.
You were one of the first on the scene. Did you just know straight away from the way he landed that he's in trouble?
Yeah, massively. I was just behind him, so I jumped with him as well. It's important we kept him on his side and got the doctors. It's something we never want to see, especially with one of our teammates or anyone in the Premier League. We hope and pray that everything's okay. The most important thing is making sure Raul and David Luiz are both okay.
How difficult is it to refocus the team, and as part of your job as captain, how do you gather yourselves to do what you did?
You've got to. You've got more than an hour left of the game. You go and play and hope you get the win for Raul and for what he does for us. The most important thing today is hoping that those two players are okay. From our point of view, it's just hoping and praying that he's alright. He's with the right people now, and that's the most important thing for us.
I don't want to pry too much, but I guess it's one of the first things you ask at half-time—how is he?
He's in the hospital, and by all accounts, he's awake and breathing. That's the one thing we're looking at. The first question we asked when we went in was how's Raul because people's health and bodies come to the forefront in these situations. It's important now we remember the game, but most importantly, we get Raul sorted.
I mean it almost doesn't feel right to ask about the football, but from that point on, how well did you do as a team?
Massively. We're trying to get better and evolve. The club is trying to move in the right direction, and we need to move along with it as players. We're enjoying playing and learning new things from our manager. Coming here and winning is no small feat. It's a fantastic result because not many teams come to the Emirates and get results. It's huge for us, and it's something we can take forward and feel like we've done quite well.
Conor Coady mistakenly thought he was Man of the Match! 😳😂
Connor reflects on Wolves' challenging but successful match, highlighting their strategic approach against Leeds. He emphasizes the importance of managing the game, particularly against a high-paced team, and praises his teammate Max Kilman for his performance. Connor also shares his positive experiences with the England national team and expresses gratitude towards Wolves for his development. He dismisses speculation about being a replacement for Virgil van Dijk, focusing instead on continuous improvement and evolution under their manager.
