Christine Sinclair Injury Update || Women's World Cup
Quick update from the Women's World Cup: Christine Sinclair, who is looking to become the first player to score in six World Cups, was seen limping late in Canada's win against Ireland. We haven't gotten any full updates yet, but it sounds like there's some sort of muscular injury. This is a difficult situation as the matches come very quickly together without any breaks during the World Cup. Depending on Canada's run, it wouldn't surprise me if Sinclair is still named in the squad for the next match. I don't think she starts, and her availability depends on what Canada will need to qualify out of the group. If qualification is secured, I don't think she will feature in the last group stage match, and Canada will choose to save her for the round of 16. However, if they need a goal, you might see Sinclair come on as a sub. If you like this video, please hit the thumbs up, subscribe, and enjoy the Women's World Cup.
Christine Sinclair explains why she blocked the USWNT’s X account. 😂
As for the US soccer thing, that was a big oops. Not a big oops, but yeah, I had blocked them. I think it was pre-Tokyo, right before we were playing them, and it was enough. I blocked them and forgot I had done it. I haven't been on Twitter or X or whatever it's called now since before the World Cup, so I totally forgot and haven't seen what they wrote, except one of my teammates showed me. Obviously, they are huge rivals, but I thank them for the kind words.
