Cameron Carter-Vickers' injury is "minor."
I'm Carol McCauley for the show takeaway. U.S. soccer has said that Cameron Carter-Vickers's injury is minor, and David Turnbull has withdrawn from the Scotland squad after picking up an injury in Sunday's defeat to St. Mirren, but neither injury sounds too serious. It's a frustrating setback for Turnbull, but fingers crossed that he's able to get back to full fitness fairly quickly after getting a good few minutes under his belt lately. Last night, Celtic beat Ukraine 3-0, a much better performance than our last few. Unsurprisingly, the majority of the lineup was made up of current and ex-Celtic players, notably Callum McGregor, who had a great game in the navy blue. He's such an important player in that side, and I think people across the country are just waking up to how outstanding a player he really is.
