Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje - Canadians 2013 Catch-Up
Kaitlyn Weaver discusses her injury from December 2012, where she broke a bone after slipping on the ice and hitting the boards. Despite the injury, she maintained a positive attitude, even decorating her crutches with butterflies. After the accident, she received immediate physiotherapy and eventually underwent surgery to insert hardware to aid healing. While she is currently unable to skate, she is undergoing intensive physiotherapy to recover in time for future competitions, including a hopeful return at the World Championships.
