Concacaf Women's Championship 2022 Flash Zone | Allysha Chapman, Canada
"We've been coming together really well as a group" - Allysha Chapman after Canada's win against Jamaica. #CWC #concacaf
Congrats on the win tonight, adding another shout-out to Canada's record. How do you rate the team's performance overall so far in the tournament?
I think we've played a lot of low blocks, so it's been difficult sometimes to break down. But I think, especially against Costa Rica, we got in our rhythm and carried that over to Jamaica. I thought the score could have been a lot higher, so I think we've been coming together really well as a group.
Looking ahead, Canada will face the US in the final. What do you think the team has to focus on in the next three days?
Definitely still just working on connecting in the final third and keeping those clean sheets. I think that's what's most important.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.

Allysha Chapman Testimonial
Having the platform that I do with the women's national team, it's important to use it for good. I've traveled all over the world, seen a lot of different places, and when you come back home, you feel a sense of pride being from Canada and Durham. You see all the great work people are doing here at Simcoe Hall, volunteering their time and helping. It really warms my heart to see this, especially during the holiday season.
